Notes Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
- to achieve this status, it is necessary to:  complete 600 hours of training from an approved school       OR       complete a minimum of 1000 hours of training over 12 months in compliance with Utah Law

AND (in both cases)  successfully complete NCETMB or MBLEx plus a state exam.

Apprentice - one may register as a massage apprentice if trained for a minimum of 6000 hours of direct supervision under an LMT
